Samsung has officially launched its One UI 7 Beta Program, based on Android 15, marking a significant upgrade in its mobile software experience. Available from December 5, the beta program is initially open to users with the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra in select countries, including Germany, India, South Korea, Poland, the UK, and the US.
One UI 7 brings notable changes aimed at improving user experience with advanced AI-powered features and a revamped interface. Samsung aims to make everyday tasks smarter with smarter tools. In fact, the new AI Writing Assist Tools write automatically with content summarization, grammar checks, and format notes all in one app, which saves time and significantly boosts productivity without the requirement of toggling across different apps.

Another key feature is Call Transcriptions, which automatically transcribes phone calls in 20 languages, offering a seamless solution for multitasking professionals. This functionality improves convenience, especially for users who need accurate records of their conversations.

The interface of One UI 7 has also been overhauled with a streamlined design for better user engagement. One of the highlights is the Now Bar, which provides quick access to essential features like music, recording, and the stopwatch directly from the lock screen. This reduces the need to unlock the device frequently, offering a more efficient and intuitive user experience.

Further, Samsung has enhanced the camera user interface by simplifying the layout in Pro and Pro Video modes for smoother transitions when recording a video.
Starting Q1 2025, the One UI 7 Beta Program will be expanded for Galaxy devices to include full availability on future Galaxy S series devices. It’s a reflection of Samsung’s commitment to personalizing AI with more of its global user base.
The upgrade to One UI 7 serves Samsung’s initiative towards providing smarter and integrated smartphone experiences with One UI’s Android updates coming in the near future.
