SamMobile has reported that Samsung employees in India and the UK have already started their internal tests of the One UI 7.0 update. So it’s a relief to see those areas officially getting the beta program, even if it’s coming out years after the darling preseason late-breaking upheaval fiasco that threw off earlier plans for a July launch.
A beta was initially speculated for a late July release but ended up seeing delays through August. Leaked screenshots stoked excitement but were swiftly denounced as fake, sparking frustration. Nevertheless, the latest evaluation information sparked extra excitement amongst Samsung’s worldwide consumer base.
Ahead of the much-awaited beta, Samsung recently released the One UI 6.1.1 update with new Galaxy AI features and performance improvements to the device. The overall changes were well received, but One UI 7.0 is scheduled to bring much more significant improvements on top of the Android 15 framework.
In the past, Samsung’s beta programs have come to China, Germany, India, Poland, South Korea, the UK, and the US. If so, this could be a good indication of an international beta for One UI 7.0 that coincides with its global anticipation.
Android 15 changes will be arrived as part of the update, which leverages an integration in security and privacy features. Additionally, users will experience enhancements in the interface design that should enable greater consistency in customization between Galaxy devices.
