Following the recent fixes in the Galaxy S22 family’s One UI 6.1 update, Samsung is now gearing up to roll out the latest version of its user interface to last year’s best-selling mid-range phones. Both the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 are receiving the One UI 6.1 update in South Korea. Interestingly, these updates won’t include any Galaxy AI features, which remain exclusive to Samsung’s flagship S-series and foldable devices.

The new version of the Galaxy A54, known as the Galaxy Quantum 4 in Korea, is labeled A546SKSU4CXDC. Meanwhile, the A34 gets the update labeled A346NKSU5CXD5. Despite it being May already, both updates come with the April 2024 security patch level. We’re curious whether Samsung will release a separate update with the May security patch this month or wait until June. Either way, the wheels are finally in motion, and Galaxy A54 and A34 units in other markets should expect the One UI 6.1 update soon.
