Honor has officially confirmed the launch of its highly anticipated Honor GT smartphone, set for December 16 at 7:30 PM local time in China. The performance-focused device promises cutting-edge features and a sleek design aimed at attracting tech enthusiasts and potential buyers.
The Honor GT will be available for reservation on Honor’s official China store, where prospective buyers can explore various configurations and color options. Promotional images reveal a modern design, featuring a polished dual-tone finish and a rectangular camera module on the rear. The phone will come in three shades: Ice Crystal White, Phantom Black, and Aurora Green. Front includes a flat screen with a punch-hole cut allowing it the sleek look of a modern device. At the right end, users will find a USB-C port, SIM card tray, microphone and a speaker at the bottom edge.
Regarding the configuration, the Honor GT will have four versions: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and the flagship 16GB + 1TB variant. Although Honor has yet to confirm all the technical details, leaks from trusted sources such as Digital Chat Station suggest that the device will feature a 1.5K LTPS OLED screen, a 50MP dual-camera system with OIS, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset running at 3.3GHz, and 100W fast charging.
Honor’s CEO, Zhao Ming, shared that the GT series is designed for younger, tech-savvy users, promising high performance alongside an appealing design at a competitive price. This phone is expected to deliver not only cutting-edge specs but also a focus on AI-driven features for the future.
This release therefore puts the Honor GT as a potential rival in the market for high-end smartphones while at the same time aiming to continue to serve tech-savvy users and Honor’s fans.
