Samsung officially launches One UI update 6.1.1. The Galaxy S22 is rolling out first in Korea. This massive upgrade with the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus and the Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to revolutionize the use of the gadgets through a set of new features aimed at boosting functionality and appearance.
The new update has separate build versions for all models, with S901NKSU5EXH7 for the Galaxy S22, S906NKSU5EXH7 for the S22 Plus, and S908NKSU5EXH7 for the S22 Ultra. It brings in a number of features and functionalities that are based on artificial intelligence and that apply a whole new level of interaction with the devices.
Probably the most striking feature available is the Galaxy AI Sketch Conversion, which enables users to convert simple sketches into beautiful digital art right from the Samsung Notes app. This feature is intended for use as a simple writing tool for casual doodlers as well as a tool that would help those who work within a digital context optimize their work flow.
Smart photography lovers will love the AI-generated style portraits that add stylistic overlays to images unlike existing filters. Furthermore, the update introduces more practical uses of the Samsung Keyboard, including predictive text, which should help with typing in particular.
Update also brings real-time call translation that allows people to converse in Google Meet and WhatsApp, among other platforms, an improvement to transcend language barriers. In addition, there is a new image text translation tool that is built directly into Samsung Internet, which will be perfect for translating text from images on the go.
There is one commendable feature for both academic and occupational consumers: the listening mode. It is intended for simultaneous interpreting during classes or when someone is speaking during a presentation. The update also improves voice transcription, converting voice recordings to text for transcription with great ease.
PDF users will note that they will be able to more easily navigate, manipulate, and add annotations to PDF files now that more document-creating tools have been made available. In addition to the aforementioned cosmetic enhancements, dynamic themes change the custom background images based on the weather and time of day, making every appliance feel individual.
