This event, known as “It’s Glowtime” could be the next one on the line of Apple’s launch spree, and it has been scheduled for September 9 at 10:00 PT. It kills the speculation on when this technological company will release new technologies into the market as follows.
Apple is likely to launch the iPhone 16 series, which will feature the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. In addition to new iPhones, Apple may also present the Apple Watch 10 (or Apple Watch X) as well as some new AirPods models. Most importantly, all the new AirPods generations will apparently come with Active Noise Cancellation, or ANC—a feature that has hitherto been exclusive to the Pro models only. This decision is viewed as an answer to Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 that come with Active Noise Cancellation across all their models.
It could be remembered that Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman had said the iPhone 16 could be unveiled at the September 10 event. Still, it is official news compared to the speculation we had for the announcement for the 9th of the month in Apple.
When could also see new versions of iOS 18, the next version of Apple’s major operating system. But don’t count on the M4-equipped MacBooks and iMacs anytime soon—these devices are unlikely to be released this summer since Apple prefers to stagger its product updates.
As we get closer to the holiday season, Apple’s “It’s Glowtime” event is expected to shine brightly, being that several announcements are on the horizon.
