The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is a state-of-the-art smartphone that comes with an all-new camera setup. The phone will have three rear cameras along with the main camera.
This new camera setup will include a 10 MP, 3x optical zoom telephoto camera. While it’s not better than the dedicated unit, the main camera will apparently get better image processing. Its light-capturing capabilities will be improved, as are rumors of sensor size and resolution.
The ultra wide camera hasn’t changed, but Samsung still needs to go with the correct focal length at this prototyping stage. It’s being tested with variable zooms with two fixed focal lengths, the first between 4x and 5x and the second between 6x and 7x. It’s not a continuously variable zoom like the Sony Xperia 1 V.
